Cairo - Egyptian authorities detained 25 members of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) movement in Dakahliya province for joining a banned movement and possessing books and leaflets, a security source said Wednesday.
All detainees, arrested Tuesday night, were linked to or supporters of the candidates of the upcoming mid-term election of Shoura, the upper house of parliament, the movement said.
